Tanisha is a nursing student who will be graduating from her ADN program in December of 2022 and then her BSN in December of 2023. She has always been interested in the medical field since she was a child. She has worked as a CNA and graduated with an associate's degree in medical assisting. She and her husband have a beautiful daughter together. Tanisha has been a part of ABNAO since March of 2022. She joined as a way to connect with other Black nurses in her area and as a way to help her local community. Since joining, she has found a mentor, friendship, and an amazing support group. She is so glad to be a member of ABNAO and can’t wait to see the personal growth she gains as well as how ABNAO will grow and continue to impact our local nurses and community.
